Skillwork (10 minutes)

Building Confidence in Asking for Testimonials

Watch a short video or read an article about how to request testimonials effectively. Practice a few lines to say when asking for feedback (either in person or over the phone).

WOD

For Time

Contact 10 current clients for feedback or testimonials.

Time Cap: 20 minutes

Scaled: Send a quick text message asking for feedback.

RX: Call each client and ask for a testimonial or feedback on how you’ve helped them.

RX+: Record a personalized video message to each client, requesting feedback and highlighting how much you value their thoughts.

Intent:

The focus of today’s WOD is to strengthen your relationship with your current members. By reaching out to 10 clients for feedback or testimonials, you’re engaging in a high-impact task that builds trust and ensures your service is continually improving.

The stimulus here is to build your member retention and gather insights that will help you refine your core offering. Whether it's a quick text or a personalized video message, the goal is to keep the lines of communication open and show your clients you care.

Coach’s Note:

Focus on genuine connection with members today. If reaching out via phone or video feels daunting, the Scaled level (text messages) is a great place to start. RX and RX+ will challenge you to have more personalized, direct conversations.

The goal is to gather actionable feedback that can drive improvement. Remember that even if you only get through 5 or 6 contacts, you’ve made significant progress in deepening those relationships.
